Please provide the receptionist with a phone number and allow at least 3 hours to approve and prepare your prescription to be picked up.

In order to ensure there is enough time to address all concerns, we try to see all clients on an appointment basis. When you schedule, it is important to fully describe any concerns that you are wanting addressed.
Our goal is to ensure wait times are low, however, emergencies and complications can occur through the day. In the instance of a delay, please remember some pets may have more complex problems that may require much longer to adequately diagnose or treat. We appreciate your understanding when delays arise. If we learn in advance of schedule problems, we will make every effort to contact you and give you the option of rescheduling your appointment.
If you are unable to keep your appointment, please give us 24-48 hours notice so that we may adjust our schedule.
Please notify the receptionist at the time of your visit of any change in your name, address and/or telephone number.
All pets are required to be current on their vaccinations for elective procedures and boarding.
Vaccinations can be classified into two categories: Core or lifestyle. Core vaccines are recommended to offer the best protection to the general pet population. Lifestyle vaccinations are those that we consider for at-risk pets.
Core vaccines - Canine:
- DHPP – Distemper/Hepatitis/Parvovirus/Parainfluinza
Lifestyle vaccines – Canine:
Core vaccines - Feline:
- FVRCP – Feline viral rhinotracheitis/Calicivirus/Panleukopenia
Lifestyle vaccines – Feline:
Grooming is offered on a select as-needed basis. All grooms are performed on sedated patients. Specialty haircuts are not offered. Cuts available include all-over shaves and lion-cuts.
Routine nail trimming, anal gland expression and ear cleanings:
These procedures are classified as elective procedures. As such, all pets must be current on vaccinations. Although a technician performs these procedures, we ask that you call ahead to schedule.
Our appointment book is computerized, which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet. Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. Emergencies are accepted anytime our clinic is open. If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us or come in immediately. If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a staff member can advise you on your particular emergency.
We have a veterinarian and personnel on duty six days a week who are trained and equipped to handle any urgent care your pet has. Usually an emergency team consists of at least one veterinarian and several technicians working together to save a pet's life. Emergencies can be things such as accidental ingestion of rat poison, hit by car, and chocolate ingestion. If you ever feel that your pet needs emergency treatment do not hesitate to call or come in immediately.
We are also available for urgent care when the condition is not life-threatening. If you feel your pet needs to be seen before you are able to get an appointment, our veterinarians will work to "squeeze" you in between scheduled appointments. When you arrive, our receptionists will be able to give you an estimate on how long you may have to wait in order to be seen.
